BARCELONA CANDIDACY TO HOST THE INTERNATIONAL PLANETARY PROBE WORKSHOP 2009 The 6th Edition of the International Planetary Probe Workshop (IPPW6) was a great success, and finished with a presentation by CTAE of the planning for IPPW7 in 2009, to be hosted in Barcelona.

Representatives from over 55 leading space and aerospace organisations attended this year’s workshop, and expressed strong support for Barcelona next summer.

Companies and organisations are invited to participate in preparing or sponsoring the workshop, which attracts scientists, engineers, policy makers, technologists and students from all over the USA and Europe. A goal for IPPW7 will be to encourage higher participation from other regions.
