OPEN EVENTS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE UNIVERSITY The International Space University (ISU) Space Studies Programme of 2008 is taking place in Barcelona from the 30 of June, to the 29th of August, 2008. A whole set of open events to the general public has been planned.
CTAE is providing local support to the 2008 Space Studies Programme of the International Space University (ISU) with senior staff who contributes to teaching and coaching of ISU Team Projects and Workshops to take place during this summer in Barcelona.
CTAE is just one part of a solid group of enthusiastic individuals and Institutions taking part in the Barcelona Organizing Committee chaired by the Barcelona Aeronautics and Space Association (BAIE). In this capacity, CTAE provides active support to the SSP Programme in identifying experts from local universities, government and space industry, and in organising visits for ISU’s participants to local research and corporate facilities.
In line with one of the main objectives of this University - to promote knowledge in space - a whole set of activities, free and open to the attendance of the general public, has been envisaged.
