Results of the trans-Pyrenees days of R&D in Space, Health and IT

Viladecans (Barcelona) 29 and 30 April 2009: More than 50 professionals from SMEs, research and technology centers, universities and government agencies participated to this two-day workshop held at CTAE’s premises in Viladecans (Barcelona) and co organized with CNES-Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales and with ACT-Asociació Catalana de Tecnologia.

Topics discussed included the strategies and legal framework for intellectual property management, incentives for technology-based startup companies, and success cases in technology transfer in the areas of Space, Health and ICT. Areas of common interest and possible joint projects were discussed. CNES and the Bordeaux TechnoWest incubator proposed to hold the next meeting in Bordeaux before one year’s time.
