Andrea was born in Onda, Castellón, Spain, on the 17th of February, 1986. She finished Aeronautical Technical Engineering in Aeronavigation at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona in 2007. She did her last year of Degree in Wales obtaining also the Bachelor Degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering in NEWI. She also finished the Aerospace Science and Tehnology Master, at UPC in Barcelona in 2010, with a final theis about a process to obtain oxygen from the regolith of the moon. She is an ISU (International Space University) alumni, participating as staff in Barcelona for the SSP08 and as a student at NASA Ames Research Center (USA) in SSP09. She is currently starting a PhD in Aerospace and half-working as an intern for the Catedra Seat-UPC in a nanotechnology project.

She has also participated as a volunteer in several jobs, such as helping on the organization of the IPPW10 (International Planetary Probe Workshop 2010) and doing speechs for children and high school students about Space to motivate them.

She enjoys very much playing the violin and dancing ballet; She got the Grado Medio in Music, with the specialization in Violin and also the Grado Elemental in Ballet and Spanish dance. She loves listening to music, travelling and flying, but the most she enjoys is space: she is fascinated especially with the moon and stars. Her dream is to dance on the surface of the moon once in her lifetime or at least help other people to go back to our satellite.
