Bernat Roig stayed in CTAE during July and August 2009 working on a short project with Josep Pino and Jorge Fuentes about the feasibility of small transport aircraft.

Bernat was born in Barcelona in 1987 and has lived nearby ever since then. However he is also very connected to the USA as part of his family lives there. He is currently very close to finishing his degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Terrassa, and intends to move on by getting a Master’s degree, if possible, in the USA. He is particularly interested in propulsion systems, and space systems, but would love to work with anything related to aerospace sciences and technology.

Bernat has always liked to learn new languages: he has already mastered English, and has just started to learn French.

He enjoys travelling, music, driving and swimming. If he hadn’t become an engineer he would have liked to work in professional photography, but as this isn’t the case, he just loves taking pictures as a hobby.
