Estel Blay Carreras was born the 1st of June1986 in Manresa. She studied the Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering in the Escola Politècnica Superior de Castelldefels (EPSC), and finished in 2007.
She studied the third year of the degree in the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education (University of Wales) obtaining also a bachelor degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering.
Currently she is studying a Master in Aerospace Science and Technology in the EPSC.
She enjoys doing judo, which she practised since childhood, and she loves going out at night to look at the stars.
