Eva Saade

Vehicles and Environment Trainee

Eva was born the 29th of September of 1986 in Barcelona, Spain.

She holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame University, Lebanon and is currently enrolled in a Master in Aerospace Science and Technology at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC).

Her Bachelor project, “The Windbelt, a turbine-less wind power device” was awarded the Engineering Innovation Award of the year 2008/2009 at the Mechanical Engineering Department.
She worked as a Design and Executive Engineer at a contracting company in Lebanon from 2008 till 2009, where she was responsible for the design of all piping systems from sanitary discharge, to hot and cold water supply, to fire fighting, heating and chillers’ pipes of residential buildings, schools and medical centers. In addition to pump sizing and boiler selection for each project conducted, she did on site supervision and shop drawing on AutoCad.

Eva started at CTAE as an intern on 16th of December, 2009 as part of an investigation team. She speaks five languages (English, French, Spanish, Catalan and Arabic). She likes to travel, listen to music and snowboarding.
