James MacLeod

Small Satellite Business Analyst

James is interning with CTAE for the summer of 2008 as part of his Masters in Space Management (MSM) studies at the International Space University.  He graduated in 2002 from Queen’s University, Canada, with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, English language and Literature.  He is a licensed professional engineer with five years of experience working in Canadian high tech and aerospace industries.

Prior to enrolling at the International Space University, James was employed by W. R. Davis Engineering, where he developed infrared suppression systems for military aircraft.  He has experience with vibration, shock, thermal cycling, and hot flow wind tunnel testing.  James has also developed technical cost modelling software programs for various automotive, alternative energy, and space transportation applications.

James has a master scuba diver’s licence and is an avid enthusiast of any sport that involves water (either frozen or liquid).
