Jun Zhang
Earth Observation Engineer
Jun Zhang, with Chinese nationality, received his bachelors’ degree in Radio Technology from the Tianjin University (China) in 1993. He continued his education by successfully concluding a Masters’ in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the Harbin Institute of Technology (China) in 1999.
Last September, Jun joined the Masters in Space Management (MSM) at the International Space University (ISU) in France. On the 21st of May, he joined CTAE for a 3 months internship focusing in Microsatellites Development for Remote Sensing Applications.
Before going to ISU, Jun worked as the vice director of the manned space program at the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). During his time at CASC, he had also worked for 10 years in charge of the manned spaceflight management. CASC is the backbone of the space industry in China.
