Martí Jofre
Head of Navigation and Communications Group
Martí Jofre holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, for both Telecom Paris (2004) and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2005). He started his professional career as a marketing assistant at Sony Spain (2003). After two years, he moved to France engaged in a double degree programme in Telecommunications. During his Master´s Thesis at the French Space Agency (CNES), he was in charge of the validation of a simulation tool for GNSS Indoor Navigation. This positive experience encouraged him to stay in the field of Satellite Navigation, and led him to spend more than one year at ESA as a Young Graduate Trainee.
He joined CTAE in September 2006 as a Satellite Navigation Engineer, where he was involved in different projects related to GNSS. After a short period as International Projects Coordinator in the Business Development Department, where he is charge of pursuing new business opportunities and managing several international projects, in 2009 he was appointed as Head of Navigation and Communications Group.
