Mike Safyan
R+D Intern
Mike was born in the Ukraine and grew up in San Francisco, California. He studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is currently completing a Master of Space Studies at the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg, France.
Mike joined CTAE in May 2010 for a three month internship, focusing on Systems Engineering and Mission Analysis Support. Some of his interests include soccer, capoeira, squash, and sci-fi and fantasy novels. He speaks Russian and English fluently, and has a basic knowledge of French, Hebrew and Spanish.
