Nuria Blanco

Navigations and Communications Research Engineer

Nuria joined CTAE at the beginning of 2010 as GNSS expert in the area of Navigations and Communications. She holds an Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Valladolid (Spain). She is in the process of writing her doctoral thesis on signal processing focused on signal processing for multipath mitigation ad multi-constellation satellite selection in GNSS.

After her engineering studies she moved to the Netherlands to work at the European Space Agency for two years. During this period, she worked on signal performance studies and in the development of algorithms for navigation receivers for both outdoor and indoor positioning. After that she moved to the IST (University of Lisbon) to work as a researcher, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering for more than 2 years. She has several publications in national and international conferences as well as journals. Due to her international experience she has language skills in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
