Satellite Communications Engineer

Pau has got graduated in 2006 as Technical Telecommunications Engineer at the Autonomous University of Barcelona(UAB), specialized in Electronic systems and developing a final project involving the design of an RF detector for radiometry applications.

In 2008, he obtained the Telecommunications Engineer degree from the same university after carrying out the final project at the University of Surrey(Guildford, UK) in collaboration with SATNEX. The project was focused in satellite-based aeronautical communications, specifically in the Resource Management of mobile environments.

Nowadays, Pau is developing a performance assessment for the Future Radio System for aeronautics communications. The objective of this project is to improve the existing communications system employed for control in civil aviation. While a broadcasting method is used for the forward link, a Demand-Assigned Multiple Access policy is being tested for the return link.

Education and knowledge is a very important asset for him and he is always open to new training and learning. He enjoys sports, socialising, travelling and knowing different cultures.
