Space Tourism Trainee

Thiago Palmieri was born in 1982, in Sao Paulo Brazil.

He obtained his Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada in 2001. During his undergraduate studies he the opportunity to intern at the AEB (Brazilian Space Agency) and at Embraer both located in Brazil. His final undergraduate project entitled “Studies on Micro Heat Exchangers and Their Applications on Turbine Engines” was conducted in partnership with Pratt & Whitney.

At the moment, Thiago is completing his Masters in Space Management at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. There he successfully completed a project entitled “Evolution of the Telecommunications Market”.  On May 21st, Thiago joined CTAE as a Space Tourism Trainee in collaboration with BAIE (Barcelona for Aeronautics and Space), to further investigate the capabilities of this emerging space business.
