Xavier Arnau
Operating Manager
Xavier Arnau joined CTAE in January 2009 as Operating Manager, bringing with him almost 20 years of professional experience in Administration and Finance, in both small and large companies.
Xavier holds a degree in Business Economics, with a major in Financial Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), as well as an MBA from the Business School in Barcelona. His interest in business management was nurtured in his family environment, as he witnessed the creation of a family business.
Xavier served for 9 years as Deputy Director and Finance & Administration Manager for a company in Manresa (Barcelona) belonging to a large group in the medical sector. He still keeps good contact with his former colleagues and is thankful for all the management skills he acquired during those years. Later, he became head of economic matters at a Catalonian public company in Barcelona, where he served for 10 years. He discovered there how a public service company works and how to manage it. Undoubtedly, it was an enriching experience that helped him mature personally and professionally.
At CTAE, Xavier is motivated and contributes with his knowledge, experience, teamwork and leadership to the growth of the Centre. He is in charge of Finance, Human Resources and Administration department and also Legal affairs, procedures and issues delegated by the Director.
Xavier sees himself as an open person, always thinking ahead and considering new ways to improve communication and organization. He likes managing priorities and acts with integrity.
He likes to spend time with his family, with whom he shares a common hobby as a parent, fan and manager: sport dance - “baile de salón de competición”, in Spanish -.
